The Casbah is the original birthplace of The Beatles and is a must do experience if you’re a fan of The Beatles. You’ll even be given a tour by one of Pete Best’s brothers. The Beatles were a resident band of The Casbah in 1959, 2 years before they played at The Cavern. You can see the ceiling painted by John Lennon with his aztec figuresand also Paul, George and and Pete’s contributions. Without the Casbah there would be no Beatles and it’s one of the only pieces of Beatles history left in it’s original state.
