Friday 26th August 2016 by BASE Serviced Apartments

It’s official, summer is over in Liverpool.

We’ve had our traditional unpredictable weather this year; from recording breaking heatwaves to raining cats and dogs, Liverpool has enjoyed the best weather and endured the worst during the 2016 summer. One thing that we can say for certain, it’s been an eventful summer.

The city has played host to a string of fantastic events over the summer as we’ve detailed in our blogs; from Africa Oye in June to Liverpool International Music Festival in July, or even International Beatleweek in August, there has been no shortage of amazing events in Liverpool this summer.

Which is why it’s comes a huge surprise that September is looking to be possibly the most exciting month yet for Liverpool based events.

With the summer moving in to autumn, you would be mistaken for thinking that things will be calming down in Liverpool, if anything, things are just heating up!

We’re guilty of often stating that there is something for everyone in Liverpool (which in our defence, there usually is!) but for September, there truly is something for everyone. You will be hard pushed to find something that doesn’t tick your box; all bases are covered and all interests catered for.

So whether you’ve got the travel bug after a long summer or if you are already planning you’re next city break, let Base Serviced Apartments tell you why Liverpool should be the only destination for you this September.

Here are 32 reasons to visit Liverpool this September!
