Base Serviced Apartments operates serviced apartments across Liverpool and Chester City centres, and pride ourselves on offering a ‘real alternative to hotel living’.

We are now recruiting an experienced and committed Revenue Manager to join the team to oversee all aspects of revenue management in order to achieve the maximisation of revenue over 3 sites. This is a full time, permanent role, based in our Head Office in Liverpool.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Maximise Hotel revenue to meet targets
  • Actively working on improving conversion of all booking enquiries
  • Managing and coaching a small reservations and marketing team, providing leadership which utilises the full potential of the team
  • Delivering a proactive sales culture within the office
  • Closely monitor competitor performance , analyse trends and current markets, identifying key areas for improvement and action
  • Initiate promotions to generate business at key times
  • Generating future business and encouraging repeat business, managing all long-stay and corporate bookings
  • Ensuring all the reservation and front office teams are informed on rate management strategy
  • Setting the sales strategy for the business, creating and developing pricing strategies in conjunction with the individuality of each site
  • Carry out analysis of booking patterns and drive strategy adjustments where beneficial to the business
  • Liaise with OTA account managers regularly and ensure all content on OTAs is updated
  • Provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected revenue results, variances and budget comparisons
  • Conduct quarterly property performance review and develop strategic and tactical action
  • Identify new revenue opportunities to drive revenue and optimise rates
  • Any other ad hoc duties to fit the needs of the business

Person specification:

  • At least 3 years experience as a Revenue Manager in a serviced apartment or hotel setting
  • Advanced knowledge of PMS and GDS systems (Guestline would be an advantage)
  • Strong organisation and analytical skills
  • Sales, communication and negotiation skills
  • Results orientated
  • Persistent, resilient and determined
  • Strong leaderships skills and ability to motivate and manage a team

Salary: £37,000 plus company benefits
